OzKidsActivities was started out of
a personal frustration of trying to find good quality activities
for our kids. There were multiple sites around, but either they
were poorly designed or they were cluttered with non-activity
related material (SPAM!) such as trying to sell prams, cots, school
wear etc. OzKidsActivities focuses on one and only thing. Good
quality activities for children of all ages.
User Interface
We have tried to keep the user interface as
simple as possible. We want you to get to the data (activity) which
you are interested in as quickly as possible with as less clicks as
possible. We hope we have achieved that. We are constantly
improving the site to be more user friendly. All of your
suggestions are welcome. Please mail us.
The technology
The technology used to drive this site is
entirely home grown in Australia. A very high throughput
enterprise-grade directory search engine is used to drive the
internals of the site. The site also uses natural search technology
to index and has extensive links to Google maps using proprietary
geocode mapping alogrithms to provide information to the user. |
